Location: Campus Quad

Cazenovia College's annual Convocation Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, August 28, at 3 p.m., on the Campus Quad (weather permitting), during which all members of the campus community will come together to officially launch the start of the 2013-2014 academic year.  The ceremony welcomes our newest class of students, while spotlighting and lauding the accomplishments of our seniors.

The procession will be led by bagpipers on a path that will go down Seminary Street, right up Sullivan Street, right down Nickerson Street and then enter the Quad between Park and Watts halls.  Seating for faculty will be to the left of the stage with seating for the president's leadership team, trustees and administrators to the right as is customary for events on the Quad.

Reserved seating for First Year Students will be available in front of the stage in a block of seats to the left (Witherill Library side). Reserved seating for our seniors will be available at the opposite right-hand side (Student Center side) of the stage.  Students should be in their seats prior to the 3 p.m. start. Procession will begin from Seminary Street (outside of Coleman Hall) – all participants should be lined up by 2:45 p.m.
