Join the Senior Class for an afternoon local community service project. Dinner at the Lincklaen House (or other option) is included.

Sunday, May 10
8 a.m. – 5 p.m. White Water Rafting on the Black River ($)
Join the Senior Class for a day on the rapids. Travel, wet suits and a BBQ lunch included.

Departs 8 a.m.
Returns 3:00 a.m.
NYC Dinner Cruise ($)
Take the free coach to Chelsea Pier for some sightseeing, followed by a 3 hour dinner cruise around NYC Harbor. Dinner included.

Seniors vs. Faculty/Staff Softball Game
No skills required to play.  All are welcome – no limit on the number of team members!!

Take a day long tour of four (4) wineries along Seneca Lake (Glenora Winery, Fulkerson Winery, Chateau Lafayette and Lakewood Vineyards)  Event includes lunch, tour and tasting.

All members of the College community (students, faculty, staff and families of graduates) are invited. This is a time for the entire College to join the celebration of our students’ success! Inclement weather may require picnic to be held indoors in the Dining Hall (Hubbard Hall).

Commencement Rehearsal
All graduates who expect to attend Saturday’s Commencement ceremony need to be at rehearsal. If, for legitimate reasons, any student cannot be present, he/she must call 315-655-7888 no later than 10 a.m. on Friday, May 15.

Line-Up for Commencement
All members of the College community (graduates, faculty, staff, board of trustees), who will be in the Commencement procession must be at the Lower Gym with cap and gown by 9:30 a.m.

All graduates will be called to the stage to have their degree confirmed by the president of Cazenovia College. A professional photographer from Gene Gissin Photography will be on hand to take graduates’ photos as they receive their diploma. Inclement weather may require Commencement to be held indoors in the Upper Gymnasium.

Reception after Commencement
A reception for graduates, families, faculty, staff and the College community will be held following the ceremony.

Additional Information

Who is Eligible to Attend Commencement?
All students who have successfully completed all degree requirements for graduation - associate or baccalaureate - are invited to Commencement on Saturday and all Commencement week activities.  This includes students who completed their degree requirements in August 2014, December 2014, January 2015 and May 2015. Please call 315-655-7888 if you have any questions or concerns.

Caps and Gowns
Students are required to bring Cap and Gown card, which will be in their campus mailbox in order to pick up regalia.
  • Caps and gowns must be picked up Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Bookstore will open at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, for last minute pick-up of caps and gowns.
  • Bookstore will be open Saturday, May 16 until 4 p.m. and Sunday, May 17 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., for cap and gown returns.
  • All rental caps and gowns (students, faculty, staff) must be returned to the Bookstore by Monday, May 18.
