Cazenovia, N.Y. – (September 5, 2013) In honor of the $1 million gift received from the Jephson Educational Trusts, Cazenovia College will name the institution’s 10 Albany Street facility – Jephson Campus
– during a ceremony on Saturday, September 28, from 4 to 5 p.m
. Community members are invited to join members of the College family at the event, which will feature formal remarks and tours of Buildings A and B.
This pledge is the largest ever made by the Jephson trustees, who administer endowed funds established by the late Lucretia Davis Jephson, the former owner of the Hillcrest Estate in Cazenovia. It also represents a significant part of the $7 million raised toward the overall $10 million goal of the Building Futures One at a Time campaign. The Jephson Campus project is one of the six priorities of this ongoing fundraising effort.
