What did you study?  Psychology in undergrad; school counseling in graduate school

What were you involved in?  I was a member of concert band and pep band, a resident advisor for a year, and the Big Red Bear mascot for a couple of years.  I was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, and participated in philanthropic activities and intramurals with the other members.  Flag football and inner-tube water polo were by far my favorite intramurals.

How long have you been at Caz?  Since May 2003

What do you like about working in Admissions? I like being able to connect with prospective students and working with them throughout the college selection process.  I like being able to help minimize stress for students and their families.  The excitement on Move-In Day is always rewarding.

What advice would you give a student who is interested in Caz?  Visit campus!  Talk to people while you are here.  Ask questions.  We are all happy to help!

What do you like best about Caz?  The people.  I still remember walking across campus my first day working here, and people were saying "hi" to me as though they had known me for years when, in fact, we hadn’t even met yet!  The campus is very welcoming, and it is clear to me that the professors care about the students and want to see them succeed.

What is your favorite spot on campus?  The Art Gallery, especially during the spring semester.  I am always amazed by the creativity of our Art & Design students, and I love seeing what they have created!

What is your favorite hobby?  Making jewelry, cross stitching, or anything else crafty, and spending time with my husband and son.

Favorite quote, book, or movie:  The "Harry Potter" series – both the books and the movies.
