, chief operating officer of Davis-Ulmer Sprinkler Company, joined the College Board of Trustees in 2014.
Having moved through the ranks in all aspects of the company – from fabricator, designer and superintendent, to sprinkler fitter, purchasing and sales, Priest was named vice president in 1997 and chief operating officer in 2003. Under his leadership, Davis-Ulmer has grown to eight offices with over 300 employees, serving the northeastern United States as a full-service provider of fire sprinkler, suppression, alarm and security systems.
He acts as a coach and mentor to the Davis-Ulmer staff, providing support and advice as they build and maintain the positively different customer relationships that are the cornerstone of the company. Priest also serves on the board for the Advocates for Upstate University Medical.
Priest and his wife, Meg, have a son and daughter (an alumna of Cazenovia College) who keep them busy with hockey, lacrosse and snowmobiling. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and fishing.
