Dacia L. Banks '94

Dacia L. Banks `94, of New Woodstock, N.Y., joined the board in 2005.

Banks is director of financial aid at Morrisville State College in Morrisville, N.Y.  She previously served as director of financial aid at Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y. At Cazenovia College she worked in the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) and Academic Affairs offices.  She was a residence hall director and housing coordinator, and also served as an assistant director of admissions, and a financial aid counselor at Cazenovia College.

She is currently president of the Cazenovia College Alumni Association, and a member of the New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association (NYSFAAA) - an organization that provides representation and communication among financial aid personnel with the higher education community.

An alumna of the College, Banks graduated in 1994 with a bachelor of science degree in liberal and professional studies.

While a student at Cazenovia College, she was a member of the judiciary board and served as its president; was a resident assistant; and served on the President's Think Tank helping to develop a five-year plan for the College. She was also staff advisor for the Phaz I and Phaz II men’s and women’s step teams.
